The company has grown to 20 employees: 1C on the accountant’s computer is sluggish, files live in Telegram, and there are no backups. Let’s put together proper infrastructure and work out what it will cost.
What a 20-person company needs
- 1C — on a server, not on the accountant’s PC: 5–8 concurrent users, access from the office and from home.
- Shared files — contracts, projects, accounting — with access rights and versioning, not “the latest version is in Dilnora’s Telegram.”
- Email on your own domain — 20 mailboxes, anti-spam, mobile access.
- Backups of all of the above — off-site, with restore testing.
- Website — on proper hosting, with HTTPS.
- Video surveillance — 4–8 cameras in the office/warehouse with a 30-day archive.
- Monitoring — so that you hear about problems before your customers do.
Cost in the MyCloud cloud
| Service | Configuration | Per day | Per month |
|---|---|---|---|
| VPS for 1C (“1C Business”, 4–10 users) | 6 vCPU / 16 GB / 100 GB NVMe, Windows | 28 000 + license | ≈ 840 000 |
| MCDrive | 500 GB, 20 users | 10 000 | 300 000 |
| 20 mailboxes × 10 GB | 20 000 | 600 000 | |
| Backups | 200 GB of copies × 300 UZS | 60 000 | 1 800 000 |
| VPS for the website | 2 vCPU / 2 GB / 40 GB | 7 000 | 210 000 |
| Video surveillance | 6 Full HD cameras, motion-triggered recording, 30-day archive | ≈ 13 000 | ≈ 400 000 |
| Monitoring | 3 hosts + website | 7 000 | 210 000 |
| Total | ≈ 145 000 | ≈ 4.4 million UZS |
Plus Windows Server and 1C licenses (for up to 10 users, the 1C server can be replaced with the file-based version). Prices are approximate — see the calculator for the exact amount.
Compared with your own server
An entry-level server of your own costs 25–35 million UZS, plus a UPS, plus licenses, plus electricity and air conditioning, plus a maintenance contractor at 1–2 million per month, plus disk replacement after 3–4 years. Over three years that’s 60–80 million UZS versus ≈ 157 million in the cloud (about 65 million of which is off-site backup storage, which the own-server setup doesn’t have) — but without the risk of losing everything to a fire or ransomware, with the ability to work from home and with support that replies as quickly as possible — where possible, from 10 minutes. And the cloud is up and running tomorrow, not after a month of procurement.
Where to start
Don’t move everything at once. The order that works: backups first (closing the biggest risk), then 1C (the most visible benefit), then files and email. Each step takes 1–3 days, with no downtime for your work. We’ll help with the move: we advise and walk you through the steps. 1 day free — the server’s launch day isn’t billed (the first charge is at the next 00:00).
