Video Surveillance for Car Washes and Auto Repair Shops — MCVMS Cloud Cameras — MyCloud

What problems cameras solve at a car wash or auto shop

A business with cash, customers’ cars and a steady stream of clients

Damage claims

A scratch, a chip, items missing from the cabin — the camera in the bay shows the car’s condition on the way in and out. The dispute is settled by the footage, not at the car wash’s expense.

Off-the-books payments

How many cars came in and how many receipts were issued — compare them using the archive. The most common source of losses at car washes is closed within a week.

Shift performance

Wash speed, idle bays, smoking in the work area, outsiders. Watch from your phone in real time.

Night and the premises

Motion-triggered recording at night: intrusion onto the premises, equipment theft, customers’ cars in the lot — with alerts to your phone.

Auto repair and tire service

What was done to the car, which parts were installed, how long it took. Protection both against customer claims and against mechanics doing side jobs.

Archive off the premises

A recorder in a damp back room breaks down and is easy to switch off. The cloud archive can’t be reached from the site — recordings can’t be deleted.

What MCVMS includes for a car wash

Service

Recording to a Tier II+ data center in Tashkent, storage from 7 to 365 days.

Live and archive viewing from phone, tablet and computer.

Unlimited cameras and users; several car washes in one account.

Export a clip to settle a claim or for the insurance company.

24/7, scheduled or motion-triggered — set separately for each camera.

Pay only for the storage you use, charged once a day.

What the site needs

Weatherproof IP cameras (IP66/IP67) with RTSP for bays and outdoors; with IR illumination for night.

At least 2 Mbps of internet per camera; 15 Mbps for 6 cameras. If the car wash has only mobile internet, motion-triggered recording will cut traffic.

Cameras are best positioned so the license plate and body are visible as cars enter and leave the bay.

How to get started

1 Send a request

How many bays and cameras, and whether you work at night. We’ll suggest a recording mode so you don’t overpay for empty hours.

2 We connect the cameras

We set up the streams and access for the shift supervisor. Usually one day, no site visit.

3 Monitor from your phone

Bays, checkout and grounds in one app. Archive by time, night-time alerts.

Video surveillance for car washes: FAQ

For bays during business hours — continuous, so you don’t miss the moment damage occurs. For the grounds and at night — motion-triggered: this cuts the volume 2–3 times. The mode is set separately for each camera.

Damage claims usually come in within a week — 14 days is enough for the bays. For the checkout we recommend 30 days. Storage depth can be changed at any time.

Weatherproof (IP66 or higher) dome or bullet IP cameras, 2–4 MP, with RTSP and IR illumination. One camera on the side of each bay and one on the entry so the license plate is readable.

4–6 cameras need 10–15 Mbps of upload. A 4G router usually delivers that; motion-triggered recording and a lower bitrate will reduce traffic if the connection is weak.

6 Full HD cameras, 24/7, 14-day archive — about 530 000 UZS per month. With motion-triggered recording at night — about 360 000. Get the exact figure in the calculator.

Yes, the supervisor opens the archive on a phone or tablet at the time the car arrived and shows the customer its condition on entry. The clip can be sent straight to them via a messenger.

Yes, DDoS protection is included in all plans at no extra cost.
