What cameras in a store actually do

Not just to tick a box — for real situations that come up every week

Disputes at the checkout

“I gave you 100 thousand, not 50” — open the archive at the receipt time and settle it in a minute. Checkout footage is kept as long as you need to sort out returns.

Theft and shortages

The sales floor and stockroom are recorded: you can see who took what and where a stocktake shortage came from. The archive can’t be deleted on site — it lives in the data center.

Staff oversight

Late arrivals, breaks, how staff treat customers, outsiders behind the counter. Watch in real time from your phone without driving to the store.

Store chains

All locations in one app: switch between stores and give managers access only to their own sites. A new store is connected within a day.

Protection from insiders

Any employee can switch off or carry away a recorder. The cloud archive can’t be reached from the store — recordings can’t be deleted or tampered with.

No recording hardware

No recorder, no hard drives, no drive replacements. Just cameras and internet; storage is billed daily for what you actually use.

Video surveillance for retail stores: FAQ

If they are IP cameras with RTSP (virtually all modern models), yes — they connect directly. Analog cameras connect through a DVR with RTSP output or can be replaced with IP cameras — we’ll tell you which is more cost-effective.

Recording during business hours (about 12 hours a day) with a 30-day archive comes to about 378 000 UZS per month for all 4 Full HD cameras. A 14-day archive cuts that in half, and motion-triggered recording lowers it by roughly another third. Get the exact figure in the calculator.

About 2 Mbps of upload per Full HD camera. 10 Mbps is enough for 4 cameras — a regular home or office plan. If the connection drops, recording resumes automatically.

You choose anywhere from 7 to 365 days. For the checkout, stores usually keep 30–90 days to have time to handle returns; 14–30 days is enough for the sales floor.

Yes. Users and permissions are set per site and per camera: the owner sees everything, a manager sees only their own store, security sees only live video without the archive.

In the interface, pick a camera and a time range — the clip downloads as a file. Recordings are stored in the data center, so their authenticity doesn’t depend on the equipment in the store.

Yes, DDoS protection is included in all plans at no extra cost.
