In-House Sysadmin, Freelancer or Subscription: What Makes More Sense for a Small Business
Comparing three ways to maintain servers for a 10–30-person company: cost, risks, response time and what happens when your specialist leaves.
ReadYou need a server, but not a full-time sysadmin. We take your server under management: we update the system, patch vulnerabilities, keep an eye on backups and load, and respond to incidents — with priority on the Standard and Advanced plans. You run your business, not a console.
We manage servers hosted with us (VPS, colocation) and elsewhere. We work with Linux and Windows Server, web servers, databases and 1C.
The routine that nobody does in a company without an IT department — until something breaks
We regularly update the OS and software and close vulnerabilities before anyone can exploit them. We check that everything works after each update.
Firewall, brute-force protection, two-factor login, access audits. RDP hardening for Windows, SSL and security headers for websites.
We watch load, disk and services. On the Standard and Advanced plans, incidents are handled with priority — the engineer gets on it without waiting for your call.
We set up and verify backups. Once a month we do a test restore — a backup nobody has checked doesn’t count.
Web server, database, mail, 1C platform, Docker — we install, configure and tune them for your workload.
Infrastructure diagram, passwords in a secure vault, a monthly report on work done. Nothing lives only “in the admin’s head”.
Price per server per day, charged from your shared balance. Discounts for multiple servers on request.
The server works and needs to keep working
A server with a website, database or 1C where continuity matters
Multiple services, integrations, SLA requirements
One-off jobs without a subscription — migration, setup, audit — from 200 000 UZS per task, estimate free of charge. Describe your task and we’ll reply with a price as fast as we can.
Prices are shown without VAT: MYCLOUD LLC is not a VAT payer.
We review your server for free: versions, vulnerabilities, backups, load. You get a list of what needs fixing.
We fix the issues found, set up monitoring and backups, and document everything.
Then it’s per plan: updates, checks, incident response, a monthly report. You assign tasks in Telegram.
Yes, we manage servers in your office and at other hosting providers. We need remote access (SSH or RDP), plus a VPN if the server isn’t reachable from outside.
Linux (Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS/Alma/Rocky) and Windows Server. Software: nginx/Apache, PHP, Node.js, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL, Docker, the 1C platform, mail servers.
An engineer starts working on the problem as fast as possible: during business hours on Basic, with priority on Standard and Advanced. We restore service first, then find the root cause and report what was done to prevent a repeat.
Yes — the plan includes task hours: install software, set up redundancy, add a website, investigate performance. Beyond those hours — at the agreed rate.
We work under a public offer agreement (Terms of Service); legal entities receive an invoice and closing documents (invoices and acceptance certificates). Access and confidentiality obligations are documented.
You create a separate account for us with the required permissions; all logins are logged. You can revoke access at any time.
Yes, basic DDoS filtering is included in all plans at no extra cost. If an attack threatens the infrastructure, traffic to the attacked address may be temporarily restricted. Clients who launch attacks from our servers are blocked.
