What TASIX and UZIX Are and Why They Matter for Business in Uzbekistan

Business tips Published: 10.03.2026 · 4 min read

TASIX and UZIX are traffic exchange points inside Uzbekistan. Through them, local telecom operators exchange data directly, bypassing international links.

How it works

If your server is hosted abroad, a request from a visitor in Tashkent travels to a foreign data center and back. That means thousands of kilometers and tens — sometimes hundreds — of milliseconds of latency on every request.

When a server is connected to an exchange point inside the country, data reaches the local ISP directly. The route is shorter, latency is lower, and speed is higher and more consistent.

What it means in practice

  • Pages load noticeably faster for your domestic audience — and search engines take speed into account in rankings.
  • Lower bounce rates: visitors don’t leave a slow-loading site.
  • Heavy scenarios run more reliably — file uploads, video streams, terminal access.
  • Local traffic doesn’t consume an expensive international link.

Who benefits most

Online stores with customers inside the country, government and corporate portals, services with a customer account area, video surveillance systems with continuous streams, and any project where response time matters.

How we do it

All VPS plans and colocation include internet and TASIX/UZIX access at up to 100 Mbps with no traffic charges. If you need more guaranteed bandwidth, you can add it per megabit — work out the cost in the calculator on the service page.
